Our Store Hours Are Changing!

Starting Tuesday, October 1, we will be open seven days a week from 9 am to 6 pm. We will be closed this Monday, September 30 for inventory counting and staff training.

We planned for arrival by bike, boat and car but we forgot horses.

Kristen is an energetic Chimacum teacher who thinks our produce is fabulous. We think her horse Lucy would agree about our Red Dog Farm carrots. Kristin loves to see her sons hop off the school bus, throw down their backpacks and run to the store for ice cream. Love these neigh - bors!

It’s Game Day!

This is Ann Louise who has been a Seahawks fan since 1982. We can keep your crowd cheering with fresh-to-go pimento, spinach and caramelized onion dips, salsas and pico de gallo, peanuts, chips, beer, cider and so much more. There are only winners at your Nordland General Store!

Meet Patricia and Jon visiting from Port Ludlow.

Our new friends arrived on bikes and shed happy tears to find the store open. And they paid in cash to help us avoid credit card fees! They promised to become members and we can’t wait to add them to our family.

This is island resident Peter in his 1969 Chevy straight-six truck.

What a stunner! In Peter’s words, “having this store open is a godsend so I don’t have to drive into town for my goods”. Peter thinks our avocados, fresh-to-go guacamole and Lopez Island ice cream sandwiches are smashing!

Maxine is an island resident who purchased herself flowers to celebrate her son’s birthday.

That is some mom self-love we can totally support! Maxine loves having the store back and fills her shopping bag with local blueberries, greeting cards, beer, ice cream, CB Peanuts and anything else that tickles her fancy.

Don’t Forget!

Cherie Priest, author of The Drowning House, is coming to the Nordland General Store for a reading and book signing on Saturday, October 19 from 2 to 4 pm.
