Artwork Mystery, Tractor Days & Dragons

Meet our new neighbors Kamala and Paul!

Want to know why they’re beaming? They recently retired and bought a home on Marrowstone. Two wise decisions! They say Marrowstone is the whole package. Quiet. Close to the mountains. Fabulous community store with yummy treats.

Welcome neighbors!

This is Carol’s granddaughter Lily (2.5)

Lily loves bananas, hiking and playing on swings. She comes by her love of hiking honestly. When Lily was 18 months old, she stayed with Carol for a month while her parents hiked the Pacific Crest Trail. Sounds like one of those win-win-win situations! Lily, we have lots of snack options for your next hike or playground rendezvous!

Lizzie and John are visiting from Maine.

These former Seattleites decided to visit the Olympic Peninsula and stumbled on Marrowstone as an idyllic place to stay. They say our store has everything you need and lots of things you didn’t know you needed! Like this book for their two grandsons who love dragons! Fun fact. They took the train from Maine!

Jake, Rhian, Sophie (7) and Nora (5) are visiting Aunt Devon on Marrowstone.

These charmers are on a spring break roadtrip from Missoula. We experienced the joy of these girls multiple times during their stay, and we are now all BFFs.

We had to zoom in on these two!

Nora wants you to know she loves our fruit. And Sophie asked us to tell you our store is extra cozy. Nora and Sophie, we want YOU to know we can’t wait for you to bring your smiles back to our store. Enjoy your roadtrip snacks!

Susan has been a Marrowstone resident for 36 years.

She tries to do all of her shopping at our store. She knows our inventory better than we do! Susan’s son is a Vermont farmer and she can’t wait to show off our produce selection when he visits this summer. That’s high praise!

Branan needs your help!

102 year-old Branan paints pet portraits on Marrowstone. He painted this portrait, but can’t remember who commissioned the work. If you recognize this stunning brown-blue-eyed pup, please let its owners know the portrait is at the store!

Sue and Tom want you to know Tractor Days is ON!

Rain or shine, festivities will take place on May 25. The tractor parade starts at 1 pm and the triathlon begins at 2 pm. The triathlon kicks off with a run to Mystery Bay Park, canoe or kayak back to the dock and bike around the island. Or, skip the race and join us for warm drinks and pastries while you cheer on the participants!
