City slickers, a smiling horse + notable additions
Two and a half year-old Finnley is a shopping rockstar.
She can fill her shopping cart with goodies faster than Grandma Gigi can take them out. Did you know Finnley’s uncle donated the materials and labor for our stunning front countertop? Our store’s special sauce is families like these.
Jeremiah and Karlee came to Marrowstone to visit Fort Flagler.
Jeremiah relived his childhood camping and capture the flag experiences with Karlee. They loved our small town welcome and bought their weekly groceries at our store before returning to Seattle.
We won the lottery!
Sam has joined Sarah and Chelsie on our management team. This powerful trio, combined with the rest of our mighty team, has us beaming! Gardening is one of Sam’s passions and she jumped right in to get primroses into our porch planters.
Welcome Sam!
Check out these ready-to-crackle firewood bundles!
We are cheering for AJ (right), our budding island entrepreneur. Always ready to help, Ken built AJ a firewood shelter to keep the bundles dry. Enjoy before July 1!
Ryan, Sarah, Matthew and Kali visited Matthew’s parents on Marrowstone for a friends weekend.
This foursome shopped daily and were big fans of our cookies, cheese and local art. We asked Matthew if his parents had a store account for the family, and he said “no” but he should set one up for them. What a good son!
There will be a short break in our Mystery Bay Farm cheese supply while the baby goats get all of the milk.
Molly and Quince posed with two of the 24 kids born so far! Ten goats are still pregnant so more kids are on the way! Want to see the babies?
Cora loves her family’s goats, but her true love is horses.
Cora has trained her horse Fern to smile. Fern knows lots of tricks! If you’re lucky, Cora and Fern will demonstrate during a farm tour.
