All it took was a Packer’s hat for Rose & Ken and Fred & Karen to connect the dots and realize they are all from small Wisconsin towns. We will cheer for these cheeseheads anytime! Rose & Ken just celebrated 50 years of wedded bliss!
Julia never misses a Thursday at the Nordland General Store.
You guessed it…she knows exactly when Chimacum Grainery makes their weekly delivery. Julia’s friend Karen enjoyed her inaugural visit to the store…and she’s about to really enjoy slices of seeded tin bread lathered with Toby’s tofu spread and Mystery Bay Farm chevré.

Meet Steve & Kevin from Bainbridge.
These bikers feel very strongly about Cearra’s cookies! They are big fans of our porch, coffee and store swag. We overheard them planning their next store meal of Bainbridge-based It’s a Wrap burritos! Kevin writes for the Island Wanderer. We sure hope he writes about his love of Marrowstone and the Nordland General Store (subtle?!).
Susan is one of our incredible volunteers who knows how great it feels to make our store hum.
We love the community vibe when we all pitch in! Interested? We’re looking for smiling friends to prep produce, pick up deliveries and tag merchandise. A few hours a week makes a huge difference!
