June loves her border collie Bruno (Encanto fan!) and is surprising him with Gathering Place biscuits.
No doubt Bruno will use the 2025 Gathering Place calendar to track his treat schedule. June and her family are island residents and regularly support our community store. Which allows us to support organizations like the Gathering Place. Yup. We’re all connected!
Visit us before Halloween to guess the weight of our porch pumpkin!
Winner will receive a store gift certificate and basket of our favorite fall treats.
Hint: It took two spirited customers to lift the pumpkin! And one to observe!!
Ice cream in late October?
You betcha! Ava, Ella and Chloe love visiting their grandparents Lawrence and Lori. Fun fact! The girls’ great great great uncle and great great grandfather started the Nordland General Store in 1922. That’s a lot of great in one family!

We’ve been impatiently waiting for a restock of Katfish Salmon. We were thrilled to have Kat deliver cans of her delicious smoked keta salmon this week. Welcome home Kat and congrats on your new fishing vessel. We’re proud to call you neighbor and local supplier!
