Fall into September with the Nordland General Store!
The Nordland General Store took to the water at the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival!
Holly and friends made an impressive spread of items from the store including Cearra’s chocolate chip cookies, Ladybug grapes, Rustic Bakery apricot pistachio crackers, Beecher’s flagship cheddar, Samish Bay chili chive gouda and lots of wine, bubbles and beer.
Rachel from Mystery Bay Farms is one of our favorite humans.
She keeps us well-stocked with the best chèvre we’ve ever tasted including these festive florets. This farmstead cheese is a gift from Rachel’s American Alpine goats who graze just up the hill from our store.
We have news!
Our friends at One Straw Ranch are now supplying us with super fresh farm eggs. These eggs are from chickens fed non GMO whole grain feed from Sequim. And if you didn’t already know…we also carry meat products from One Straw Ranch. More on that later!
Meet Joyce, aka Joyous.
Joyce is a Marrowstone resident who captures the rural landscape and light of our island using her paintbrush. We had to say yes when Joyce asked to set up her easel on our front porch. Joyce’s plein air (or “open air”) oil paintings are available at Cole Gallery. And yup, we checked. This one is already sold! Joyce’s store favorites are pimento cheese dip, Pane d’Amore seeded sourdough bread, any ice cream treat and our sweet melons.
