Movie night, gifting lunch and juggling!
Quince is back!
He loved spending winter break in Hawaii eating coconuts, but is happy to be back home on Marrowstone. He’s studying aerodynamics and flight patterns in school. And apparently he’s also studying the flight pattern of navel oranges in our produce section! Quince will be juggling three by Valentine’s Day!
Meet Black Lotus Landscaping (Josh, Jon, John, Ryan & Ethan).
Their client set up a lunch account for them at the store. The guys appreciate the home town vibe of our store and especially love our new cinnamon chocolate chip cookies from Cearra. Best part? “You were expecting us when we walked in!”
Tis the season for movie night!
Chelsie shared her kid-favorite, playdate-go-to popcorn recipe with us.:
Heat Atlas olive oil in a large pot over medium-low heat.
Add 3 kernels when you think the oil is ready and cover.
When the tester kernels pop, add the remaining kernels.
Transfer to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil followed by nutritional yeast and flavored San Juan Island Sea Salt.
Repeat for desired coating level.
Don’t tell the kids…it’s super healthy! And it’s not just for kiddos!
Bob and his pup Levi visit almost daily for coffee, baked goods and organic produce.
Bob refers to the store as the crown jewel of Marrowstone. That’s high praise for our little store! Bob is leading a traffic workgroup to improve pedestrian safety around the store. We are so grateful to everyone who cares for and holds our community so carefully.
Wilson and Sue are leaving paradise and will no longer be greeting you with the best hugs (Wilson on left) or the warmest smile (Sue, pictured with Ally on right). We will miss you both. Your name tags will be waiting for your return home.
