Jumping into 2025!
The 2025 Polar Dip was a success!
Bravo to our friends who braved 49 degree water and had an invigorating start to the new year. And well done to the many supporters who came supplied with towels, warm drinks and hugs. We are grateful to Tom and Sue for continuing this tradition for our community for 30 years. Keep scrolling for more pics!
Kelsey and Alix love visiting Aunt Debbie.
They refer to Marrowstone Island as their happy, healing place and appreciate the tranquility they feel on island. This pair visits the store daily and applauds our emphasis on local producers. They agree walking into the store is like greeting a long lost friend. Come back friends!
Siblings Simon and Randi shared a few Nordland General Store childhood memories.
Randi recalls innocently posing for Halloween pictures in front of the VHS wall. Simon remembers not-so-innocently re-engineering lighters at the store to increase the flame height. A little lighter fluid on the store counter and voilà. Fire in store! Keep the stories coming you two!
We promise to keep you healthy…
with organic winter citrus, local greens from Spring Rain Farm and lots of drinkable Vitamin C.
Ruby and oro blanco grapefruit, navel oranges, mandarins and comice pears are just a few of the fresh fruits we have for you!
Bill and Jeni are building on Griffith Point.
Best part of their soon-to-be home? They have a peekaboo view of the Nordland General Store! Bill enjoys reading a book on our porch and seeing who shows up for a chat. Jeni is an elementary school teacher who appreciates how our community came together to recreate our store. We are excited to have these long-time visitors as permanent residents.
